In addition to my talents as a wordsmith, I offer clients a formidable range of skills and experience in public relations, media relations, media training, fundraising and marketing, with a full-time and freelance career history that includes:
I believe in creative integrity -- of the published word and of the clients I represent. My
multi-faceted background in communications enables me to manage writing and presentation projects from start to finish; to provide leadership and assistance in troubleshooting existing projects; to work independently or with a team; and to offer advice and training in all aspects of written and oral communications.
An honours graduate of the Oxford (UK) Board of Education’s Use of English exam, I hold honours degrees in English and Theatre from the University of Ottawa and a diploma in Journalism from Algonquin College. My strong academic background and the practical skills acquired in my journalism training and extensive work experience enable me to meet the communications needs of a broad range of clients. My rates are reasonable; my ideas are creative and practical; my style is clear, concise and commanding; and my turn-around time is fast.
